Happy Mother's Day!

Mother’s Day takes on special meaning for us here at Avon. This is a 
time for us to applaud the hundreds of thousands of Representatives 
and Associates who make the world a better place for women.

For over 130 years - 34 years before women had the right to vote - Avon
has been creating successful female business owners. Among our 
Representative ranks are mothers, who have turned to the Avon 
opportunity for many different reasons. Some come to earn money to 
support her family, others to build her self-esteem, and some join because
they value the connections they feel to like-minded women and to a 
company that stands for women’s empowerment. These "Momtrepreneurs" 
value the flexibility that comes with being their own boss – building their 
businesses on their own terrms and setting their own hours to balance the 
needs of their family and work. When those Representatives win with 
Avon, so do their families.

This Mother’s Day, we honor Avon Moms by sharing a message of 
gratitude from those who know them best – their children! In our 
"What My Avon Mom Taught Me” campaign, we hear firsthand the heart-
felt messages from Avon kids about the lessons they’ve learned from their
Beauty Boss Moms.

We also know that health and safety are essential to a woman’s empower-
ment, which is why we remain committed to ending breast cancer and 
domestic violence. We are proud to have reached over $1 billion globally 
in contributions to these important causes that impact far too many women. 
In celebration of Mother's Day, Avon and the Avon Foundation advanced this 
commitment even further with a donation to Sanctuary for Families, New York 
City’s largest service provider for survivors of domestic violence and their 
children. We surpassed $675,000 in donations to this organization with a new 
$5,000 grant that was presented in late April by several of our Avon 
Representatives.

The donation coincides with the launch of our Branching Out Empowerment 
Tote for Mother’s Day. This limited-edition, fundraising product was created 
through Avon’s unique partnership with Sanctuary for Families and their 
Children’s Collaborative Art Project. The tote features a painting of a beautiful 
tree - symbolizing hope, healing and growth - created by a young boy residing 
with his mother at one of the shelters. The tote is available for purchase here.

This Mother's Day, we share our gratitude with our Representatives and 
Associates for their hard work, their purpose-driven dedication, and for sharing 
in our company’s steadfast commitment to women.
